Just a great setup in there. Really friendly staff who go the extra mile to make sure everything is spot on. I've been in there to have some heel lift sorted out, my board and bindings fixed and the board serviced a couple of times - all at very reasonable prices.
2 friends rented gear there for a week - again at a great price.
All in all, I totally recommend them!
Tignes Spirit staff took the time to make sure the fit of ski boots was just right. I was able to choose from a selection of skis with good advice on which were suitable for what types of skiing. I was very happy with the equipment I chose. I also got a courtesy call the next day checking that I was still happy with my equipment. I can't think of anything more they could have done.
We were a party of eleven staying in Lavachet, so I used the web to find a ski hire outlet in Lavachet and truly struck gold with 'Tignes Spirit'. The web page is clear to use with packages graded simply depending on how fussy you are. Having done the hire I was asked if there was any other requirements such as lessons, transfers anything really.
It was half term week so Tignes was busy and booked but with the great people and the friendly responses, Anna, Caz and Katie sorted lessons and transfers for me and the whole party. They really go the extra mile to help and because of that it was nice to meet them and all the rest of a truly great team. So thank you to you all :)
Second year of using these guys - family of five fitted with boards, skis and kids boots & helmets with plenty of care and attention and a shuttle to/from our hotel. Would definitely use them again.
Lovely shop and brilliant guys in the service den. Although ultimately couldn’t fix due to special part needed, gave me further recommendations so I could get fixed and back on the slopes. Definitely worth a visit.
Our large group of 14 adults have used Tignes Spirit again this year after the very successful service we received from them last year.
They delivered to our Chalet and even when some of us needed different ski boots, as the first ones were not comfy, they happily changed them. Another member of our group was not happy with the condition of their boots after skiing in them and Tignes spirit happily came back out to the chalet to change them.
They also arrange prices on boots if you want to buy the ones you've hired which is great! I would use Tignes Spirit again if we come back again next year!
I booked a last minute trip to Tignes just after New Year with Alpine Elements, staying at the Hotel Hauts de Toviere.
I always hire equipment independent of the company I'm travelling with and so was very pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across the excellent reviews of this place as it was just across the road. Having hired from them, I can see why they're so well rated and would recommend them to anyone coming to Tignes - even if you're not staying in Lavachet.
They're a very short walk from one of the ski bus stops and will also deliver to your accommodation.
The staff are enthusiastic and well informed. The setting-up of my board was easily the most thorough I've had in about 6 trips of hiring equipment.
On what was supposed to be my first day of boarding, the entire ski-area was closed due to heightened avalanche risk, but Tom (?!) allowed me to borrow some safety equipment (padded shorts, wrist and back protectors) as a gesture of goodwill as a refund was not possible.
What's more, upon my return to the UK, I got a phone call from one of their staff checking that I was happy with my hire and the service I received.
If I head back to Tignes, I'll definitely be hiring from Tignes Spirit again. Thanks!
Beth sorted us out in the shop, she was awesome getting the workshop to fit bindings in new skis while we sorted lift passes.
He was very patient considering I couldn't decide on which boots were best for me - he's a credit to your shop!
