This is the 2nd year I've rented from Tignes Spirit. They really know their stuff and ensure you get the perfect fit for your level.
Service is friendly and very professional.
Their aftercare is great and they even phone you the next day to check all is OK with the gear they've rented you.
Although our accommodation was a bus ride away in Val Claret this year, it was worth the short (free bus) journey as their gear is high quality at a very competitive price.
Boots and skis were perfect for me, and last year they even carried out an instant no quibble repair in their onsite workshop when I had a bent brake after a fall!
They also have a very nice shop attached which sells lovely ski wear.
English speakers too which helped us immensely.
I wouldn't rent from anywhere else.
I highly recommend TS for rental and kit. They go out of their way to set you up with the most appropriate kit.
They stay open late to ensure you can get set up the night before your first day on the snow.
I've never had to wait more than five minutes unlike the large chains which have long queues on busy days.
Although we stayed in le lac this year we wanted down to rent for my son from TS. Worth a short walk/ bus
We were keen to purchase some skis but wanted to try some first.
Staff were super friendly and very helpful and let us try out some skis before we purchased.

I had the best hiring experience with Tignes Spirit Rentals. Ben was phenomenal when I was trying to book some gear online, he was quick to respond and make any amendments I needed.
Quite often with snowboard hiring, you never know what you'd get, but with Tignes, it was exceptionally great gear - both board and bindings. I told them my skill level, type of board I liked and that I was doing back country. As I was going to be in Sainte Foy, not only did they deliver - they made sure it was the right type of board and I got to choose a board I like.
Experience didn't end there, they checked in and made sure everything went well. Couldn't have asked for better gear and experience.

Great independent shop - sent them an email with board references that I wanted to try, everything was here and ready.
Went back to the shop to try something new, no issue! I had a brand new ‘Salomon sick stick’ with ‘Salomon Quantum’ bindings, perfect combo to carve and bomb down the slopes!

Tignes Spirit Rentals were absolutely amazing!!! Friendly, super helpful staff stayed at the shop late to help our group of 12 get sorted with our hire kit. The team spent a lot of care and attention making sure everyone was comfortable and properly set up. They even helped get extra boards and skis sorted last minute following a lost bag at the airport. Easy to order online, great communication throughout, fantastic service and even a courtesy call during the week to make sure we were happy. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be using these guys again! Thanks Tignes Spirit.
I hired two sets of ski gear from Tignes Spirit during a ski week in Jan and I can honestly say that from the guys delivering the equipment at my chalet to collecting it again at the end of the week, the service was absolutely impeccable.
Having skied in multiple resorts for years, the level of customer service TS provided was by far the highest of all the hire companies I have used previously. This included calling a couple of times to check I was still happy with my kit or if I wanted to change my piste skis for off-piste when we got fresh powder.
The Gold Level skis that I had were ideal for leading a mixed-skill group and the beginner boots for one of my group were completely brand new and great for him and suited his level. I would probably be tempted to try the Platinum Level equipment next time but that's just a personal preference for trying a few different options and no criticism of the great piste skis I had this time which were well edged and waxed.
All-in-all absolutely awesome service, massive thank you to all the TS guys whom I dealt with and their chilled-out yet knowledgeable attitudes removing all of the ‘traditional’ and stiff hire shop experience. They helped make my week run seemlessly and allowed me to maximise my time on the hill and enjoying the aprés.
Next time I’m back in Tignes I’ll be using Tignes Spirit Retnals for sure, and on my praises the rest of my group (who foolishly hired elsewhere) are also now converted. I’ll be recommending TS to everyone else I know who are heading in the Tigens direction.

I rented gold level skis and boots from Tignes Spirit and they were very well priced, I've paid more for worse condition in the past in other resorts!
I didnt book in advance and still got this!
Some of the friendliest, most knowledgable staff I've seen in a ski rental shop who really know their stuff!
Walked me through everything, took the time to make sure all the equipment suited my needs brilliantly!
Hats off to them, up there with the best week's skiing I've had!
