I was very impressed with the service, the staff were really great, exceptionally helpful and good humoured in spite of the lateness of our arrival (thanks to the rather unreliable transfer from Geneva!). Also we arrived very late in the season but none of this seemed to affect the good humour of 'Tignes Team'
We had to return to the store during the week, because my son was experiencing significant discomfort with one of his boots. Again the staff were supremely helpful. We will come again!
Tignes Spirit appear to be at the centre of the Brit network in Tignes and are very helpful for sorting out points of contact in Tignes for lessons etc.
However, it was on the hiring of ski equipment for my family and I that they came up trumps this year. They provided good quality equipment that was completely suited to our individual needs.
For example, they talked me out of hiring a pair of skis I was familiar with and into a pair that they thought would better suit my needs and they certainly did - best on-piste skiing ever; they changed my daughter's boots mid-week because her toes were hurting and she got a brand new pair because that was all they had in the next size up and finally, they were flexible about our kit return time when we extended our skiing by half a day.
I recommend them as the 'go to' rental/advice team in Tignes.

These guys are great. I've hired a lot of ski equipment in my time but none have ever made it as pleasurable as this lot. Nothing was too much trouble, communications was quick and efficient. They were a great bunch to hire from and made the experience fun. The equipment was in great condition too.
Not to mention driving us back to our hotel and collecting the equipment at the end of the rental. I will never go to Intersport again, only ever use Tignes Spirit.
The team at Tignes Spirit (Le Lavachet) made the whole ski hire experience very straight forward for my family of 13. They were very quick to respond to my emails and offered me an exceptional price for the hire. The equipment was very good quality and my platinum level skis were virtually brand new. A few of my family members (including myself) had to change their boots after the first few days, they did this without any quibble whatsoever.
Let's face it, arriving at the weekend is the busiest time for ski hire shops, and Tignes Spirit was no different. We decided to attend the shop in small groups and I can say (with hand on heart) that the staff were very patient with everyone who was waiting. It was very busy and as soon as we arrived a member of staff acknowledged us and ask us to please sit down and someone would get to us asap. They even threw in a €10 beanie hat for one of my family.
We will be returning to Tignes and I will be using Tignes Spirit again.

I rarely write reviews on TripAdvisor but felt compelled to send this message as my experience was Tignes Spirit was utterly impeccable. The quality of the kit has got to be the best I've ever experienced, the staff were friendly, accommodating (even keeping the shop open for us when we were delayed until 2am in the morning!!). We would absolutely go back here within a shot. The rates were reasonable and to be honest, I would have been happy to have paid more for such an experience. Keep it up guys, so impressed! Not in the crowded Lac area of Tignes - I got exactly what I wanted.
From the minute I stepped into the shop running late and slightly hungover I received excellent friendly service from the staff. They got me kitted out and on the slopes with time to spare for my lesson.
The board and boots were awesome - so much so that at the end of the week I ended up buying the boots.

Excellent service from Tignes Spirit. Within a hour of arriving in resort all sorted ready to ski , few adjustments needed no problem at all . First class service . Kev Lee
