Update : 27th November 2020 - Following a recent announcement from the President of the Republic and Prime Minister it has been confirmed that ski area will not be able to open for the Christmas Holiday period or before. The date ski lifts will be able to open is still currently unknown.

Tignes remains a holiday destination with or without a ski area. Today we do not know what activities will be permitted here following lockdown restrictions being lifted. Shops and accommodation providers are currently preparing to open in compliance with directives given by the Government. Please keep an eye on the Tignes website for further resort news.

OUR SHOP

Our customers and staff are our top priority here at Tignes Spirit Rentals. We have been working hard to put measures in place to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable when they visit us. We hope these measures give you peace of mind when making your booking.

Please rest assured our staff are given specific Covid-19 hygiene training. Our shop and equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected regularly.

The time of your visit to our shop is recorded in our system. Should one of our staff or customers contract Covid-19 who you may have been in close contact with we will contact you asap. If you have been in close contact with someone who has Covid-19 and have recently visited our store please let us know and follow relevant government guidelines.

Face masks will be mandatory in our shop for both staff and customers. Should you be unable to wear a mask due to health issues please contact our team. We advise everyone to wear a face covering in resort especially in enclosed spaces.

We have a new one-way system throughout our store to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable navigating our store. We ask that everyone gives each other space whilst visiting. We also now have a limited number of people in our shop for your safety. We offer bookings by appointment for your piece of mind.

We provide hand sanitiser at various stations throughout our shop and ask all customers and staff to use this as they enter and leave our shop. We advise everyone to keep washing their hands regularly in line with the government advice.

Contact-free Delivery & Collection Service

We now offer a Contact-free Delivery and Collection service*. A little extra piece of mind for those of you who would prefer to minimise shop visits during the pandemic or who just want to sit back and relax rather than turning out after a long journey to resort.

All you need to do is select a fitting window when you book. We will keep in touch with you on your journey then bring all of your equipment to your chalet. Our team will be wearing full PPE (face shield, mask, gloves) and following social distancing guidelines when they deliver the equipment. The equipment will be fully disinfected prior to the delivery. Should you need to change anything during your holiday all you need to do is call us on +44 203 326 4299 and we will pop back asap.

At the end of the rental we will then pop back and collect the equipment from your chalet allowing you to relax and enjoy your last night in the resort!

THE RESORT

The tourist office, accommodation providers, activity providers and the various shops in the resort are preparing their openings for the winter season, in compliance with the directives given by the Government, and within the framework of their dates. respective opening.

Ski lifts

Wearing a mask or a technical neck warmer (anti COVID) will be compulsory to use the ski lifts, like all other means of transport.

There are no plans to limit attendance: With 300 km of slopes we will have ample opportunity to respect physical distancing.

Any package purchased directly from the STGM and not used due to COVID-19 will be fully refunded (or prorated in the event of partial use of the package).

Accomodation

Each provider is free to decide on their own cancellation conditions, so we recommend that you contact your host or the activity provider concerned to find out the cancellation conditions specific to them. But they remain particularly flexible today, and especially if the COVID-19 context were to change.
