With the same sidecut as the XT 800, the RXT is built for expert all-mountain skiers who ski 80% of the time on piste. In other words, it's a groomer ski. Unlike the sandwich-construction XT, the RXT is a structural cap, with two layers of fiberglass over a wood core. This should make it slightly easier and lighter than the XT, but it has the same two sheets of metal and square tail, which should equate to a powerful carver. A layer of elastomer and two "Powerline" arms aim to reduce vibration and boost ski-to-snow contact.
